With the interactive installation called RefleCT/Xions, the group of the Cresson Lab proposes to pay attention to the relationship between man
and the space he lives in. The way proposed, connected with the artworks of the exposition, is an opportunity to show the common experience
of man/space interactions. This way emphasizes "daily enaction". By this way, they want to make special what is usual by playing on
sensitive effects that set up our perception of space. To manage it, they work on the atmosphere of the place thanks to simple tools (acoustical,
luminous, aerolicÉtools) which modify the visitor's environment and react to his or her presence. According to the ideas of reflectivity and
sensorial amplification, some variations of diffraction, deflection, delay, reverberation, persistance, larsenÉeffects are built up all along the
way in the exposition. These effects variations show the body movement in space and ask the perceptive attitude of the visitor-actor.
Laboratoire Cresson (Richard Atienza, Gabriel Bérubé, Aurore Bonnet, Damien Masson, Jul McOisans).
Group of enactivists working at the Cresson Lab, they aim at putting into context interdisciplinary questioning at the crossroad of architecture, social studies
and engineering sciences. The concept of 'ambiance' (atmosphere) leads at once to physical and cultural phenomena. They uses it as a basic tool to make in situ
experiments in order to question the interactions and the inter-relationships that a place and its caracteristics maintains with perception and public imagery.
